MWR 6550

The SELFSAT MWR 6550 is a router that can be operated via a 12 volt vehicle power supply or a 230 volt connection. It can receive an incoming WiFi signal or, thanks to an inserted SIM card, a mobile network signal and send out a private, password-protected WiFi signal. You can also connect several devices to the router at the same time. It has no SIM lock and can be used with top-up SIM cards (prepaid) or contract SIM cards (postpaid) from various providers. Since it has 2 SIM card slots, foreign SIM cards can also be used abroad, for example.

It receives a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal, as well as the 5G or 4G LTE or 3G mobile network signal. Thanks to MIMO technology (Multiple In Multiple Out), it can send and receive multiple data packets simultaneously to achieve the best possible connection speed.

Connecting to your router's WiFi is as easy as in a hotel or at home. The first connection can be made using the QR codes on the router, or using the WiFi name and password. After changing the password, the connection is made using your specified personal password. The router's simplified, user-friendly interface can be set up and operated using Apple or Android smartphones, tablets and laptops, and is done via the Internet browser. This means that no app needs to be installed.
